Password Policy

webTA allows you to enforce the password policies in place at your agency. You may configure any or all of the policies. Some of the options may be turned on or off by checking the box and others have lists of options to choose from.

If the special character option is selected, the password must contain at least one of the following:

     ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ?
				

webTA logs unsuccessful attempts to access the system, so you may establish a policy to lock people out of the systems after a specific number of attempts. If the person is locked-out, their password must be reset by an Administrator, HR Administrator or timekeeper.

Click Save to establish the new password policy and return to the Configure webTA Menu.

Click Cancel to return to the Configure webTA Menu without saving the changes.
