You may delegate your webTA timekeeper role to any number of
alternates in the event you are unavailable to perform your
duties due to absence. The delegates you assign have all of
the rights to prepare and access webTA reports for the
employees assigned directly to you. If you are assigned as a
delegate for other timekeepers, your delegates do not have
access to the webTA records to which you have access only as
a delegate.
Timekeeper delegates will see the
Timekeeper menu button on each of their
Main Menu screens. If the person is already a
Timekeeper this is no different from their normal Main Menus.
On the Select Employee screen, the delegated timekeeper will
see all of the employees to whom they have access- both
employees assigned to them and employees for whom they are
delegates.
The delegated authority remains in effect until you remove the
User ID of the delegate from the list on this screen. You do
not have to create any delegates, but it is a good idea to
assign at least one.
To delegate to a person, enter their webTA User ID in
one of the available fields. If you do not know the
person’s User ID, you can search for it by clicking the
Search button.
When a person should no longer have delegated timekeeper
access, click the Del button to the left of
their name to delete them from your list of timekeeper delegates.
Click the Undelegate All button to remove
all delegates.
